Docker Campus Ambassador

I am pleased to inform you that I am currently one Docker Campus Ambassador at Politecnico di Milano.

Practically this means that I will organize events involving students and local start-ups to promote the usage of Docker within and outside the campus.

My first-year goal is to organize least one event per semester. The structure of the events is not decided yet, but I aim at something practical that will make the participants understand the value of LXC and Docker.

Docker is having a central role in my research too, in order to foster reproducibility of computational experiments and simplify software portability and distribution.

Therefore, I am also inviting researchers to take part to this events and contribute with their use-cases and needs that might be solved with docker.
